Day 1: Arrive at Bangalore
Arrive Bangalore. Transfer to Hotel. Later visit to Bull Temple,
Lalbaug, drive past Vidhan Soudha and Cubbon Park. Visit Iskcon Temple
in the evening and return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka is called the Garden City for it's
delicate blossoms and greenery that impart a unique beauty to this
lovely city. The weather here is so pleasant and bearable in winters.
Bangalore is a cosmopolitan city, where different cultures and customs
exist. Kempe Gowda founded the city in 1537 - today it is a bustling and
diverse city, with ancient arts that flourish alongside the Silicon
Plateau of India!
Day 2: Bangalore -Mysore
Morning visit to MG Road and Commercial Street for shopping. Depart for
Mysore in the afternoon visiting Srirangapatnam - the 18th century
Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan on the way. Check into hotel on arrival at
Mysore. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Mysore
Drive to Chamundi Hills for a panoramic view of Mysore city in the
early morning and visit famous Chamundi Temple and later the Mysore
Palace, Art Gallery, St. Philomena's Church - built in the Gothic style.
Visit Brindavan Gardens in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Mysore - Ooty
Drive to Ooty in the early morning. Check in to hotel on arrival. Visit
the lake and Botanical Gardens in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at hotel. Ooty is situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters
above the sea level.
Day 5: Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty
Drive to Coonoor in the morning. Visit Sim's Park, Lamb's Rock and
Dolphins Nose and return to Ooty. Visit Doddabetta Peak in the afternoon
and the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight say at hotel. Coonoor is
only 17 km from Udhagamandalam.
Day 6: Ooty - Kodaikanal
Drive to Kodaikanal (280 km/7 hours), see the Silver Cascade waterfall
on the way. Check into hotel on arrival at Kodaikanal. Evening at
leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Kodaikanal - located amidst the folds of the verdant Palni hills is one
of the most popular serene hill stations in India, which mesmerizes any
visitor, with her wooded slopes, mighty rocks, enhancing waterfalls and
a beautiful lake. Kodai is situated at an altitude of about 2,133-m
high. 'Kurinji-flower' is the pride of this place, which blooms once in
12 years.
Day 7: Kodaikanal
Morning visit to Coaker's walk, Green valley view, Upper lake View
point, Pillars rock etc. Afternoon free to enjoy boating in Lake.
Day 8: Kodaikanal
Day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Kodaikanal - Coimbatore - Kodai Road - Bangalore
Morning proceed to Bangalore or take drop to Kodai Road, Coimbatore
Railway station/airport.
